Welcome to North Bend United Methodist Church

The Youth Group after their Puppet Show
We are a vibrant, growing church that focuses on the scriptures as they pertain to all our lives. Our members, attendees and visitors are very important to us and we make every effort to make them feel they have found a new Home.
This is a church where you can be as active as you want: join one of our Sunday School classes (children’s, youth, and adult classes meet weekly) participate in any (or all!) of the weekly small groups and studies, volunteer on a project like the monthly “Missions in Health” clinic or the meal pack ministry, be a committee member or just come to worship.
Some additional activities available include, The Christmas Bazaar, Advent Tea, Spring Dinner and Auction, just to name a few. We are also active outside our church with members volunteering time at The Ecumenical Food Cupboard, T.H.E House, Women’s Safety and Resource Center, Habitat for Humanity, The First Step Program, S.M.A.R.T. Readers Program, Boy Scout Troops, and many other organizations.
Children are vital part of our ministry. The pastor provides a children’s message each week, following which the children lead us in the Lord’s Prayer. Throughout the year a variety of children’s arts and craft events are held where faith and life are brought together. Everyone looks forward to these fun times!
Our children and youth are also very active in proclaiming the good news through outreach. They are encouraged to volunteer with the clinic and other mission projects. In 2006 the children took the lead, challenging the congregation as a whole to raise $ 5,000.00 to launch a Heifer Project “ARK” full of animals for needy countries. With hard work and education the youngsters filled the ARK in less than six months!
